Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great gaiety and also apprising the students of their rich culture and heritage, Baisakhi celebrations were held in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN). A house wise vibrant and exhilarating cultural show was organized to mark the harvesting festival in which the students showcased their skills in different ways. The programme commenced with invoking the blessings of Almighty Lord in the form of ’Shabad Gayan’ followed by an enlightening speech highlighting the importance of the festival. A short act on Jallianwala Bagh massacre moistened all the eyes and made them recall the sacrifices made by thousands of Indians. The folklore of Punjab, Bhangra and Gidda, cheered all the hearts once again. Sh. O.P. Sabharwal ji, Manager , BVM USN blessed the students on this occasion. Mrs. Navita Seth, Vice Principal, while addressing the students, appreciated the unflinching efforts of the teachers and students and extended her heartiest wishes on this auspicious occasion.
